It's true.. I do forget to print my own images as much as the next guy! My goal this year has been to print as much as I can for myself, for my kids, for my hubby..and well for my lonely walls! It's been a little over a year when we moved into our first-brand-new-built-for-us-house. A lifetime of marriage and we did something we thought we'd never do and that was build new.

Honouring those who serve

We grew up as army kids, my dad served in the military (Royal Canadian Regiment, 2 RCR) up until I was in grade 1.  My dad's the guy you'll always see sporting his pro-militia t-shirt, his 2 RCR lapel pin, his yellow ribbon magnet on his bumper of the car and he'll be the first to support his friends who have served. So back In October, my dad and I took an overnight road trip to Penticton BC to meet one of his buddies, Bob, that has served for our country.

Sherwood Park Photographer { Miss E's Session }

Life sessions are one of my favourites, birth sessions ranks right up there too. Why? Because I get wonderful opportunities to meet families where they are at. No fussing, no muss, life sessions reveal a day in the life without all the hustle that a typical portrait session offers and with Miss E's session it was no different. I showed up at Pamela's place mid morning, just before Miss E woke up from her first nap of the day. After Pamela and I yammered away for a bit enjoying a cup of tea, we heard Elisabeth starting to make some noises from her room.
