It'll be our 2nd Christmas in our new house, last year I didn't do much in dressing up our home for the holidays however, this year I've been searching through Pinterest looking for inspiration. I went on a pinning spree late in the night, planning out what I'd like to do. I saved my Pinned list to my phone and went hunting for items that reflected my list.
My plan was instead of hitting up the typical decor stores I'd do a little hunting for my holiday treasures.
I took a drive today around the city, after all the ceremonies, taking pause to honour those that have served and gave so much of their lives for so many. With the little I can do, my heartfelt thanks goes out to each individual that gave so much.

My dad's the guy you'll always see sporting his pro-militia t-shirt, his 2 RCR lapel pin, his yellow ribbon magnet on his bumper of the car and he'll be the first to support his friends who have served. So back In October, my dad and I took an overnight road trip to Penticton BC to meet one of his buddies, Bob, that has served for our country.
