DIY FELT GARLAND

An easy DIY to decorate your home with a vintage flair will add pops of colour in with vintage style. .

While I could have easily purchased a felt garland from the local big box store, I love to create my own decorations for our home during the holidays. In the busyness of the season, pulling out the crafts with the kids, causes me to slow down and enjoy the moment!

At home, I used a nylon fishing line I had from previous and a set of buttons found in my sewing box for the ends.

With cutting squares, assembly while sipping away at tea and listening to Christmas music, took about 3 hours of time.

Stringing together I started with one of the blue buttons, as an end holder for the garland, every three squares, adding in a wood bead to break up the pattern. Total length was approx, 5 feet 3 inches.
